De novo lipogenesis in mouse placenta and fetus.
De novo lipogenesis in placental tissue occurs both in the syncytiotrophoblast and extraembryonic tissues and is independent of glucose. It accounts for about half of the lipogenic activity in the late conceptus. De novo lipogenesis has not been reported to occur in the normal, undisturbed, adult liver, but may be related to the ability of the liver to take up, utilize, and store lipids. Lipogenesis by the placenta represents a physiological way of meeting the energy requirements of a developing fetus.1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a color picture tube and more particularly to a color picture tube which is capable of obtaining good color purity without any deterioration in resolution.
2. Description of the Prior Art
Recently, color picture tubes have been developed in which an electron gun assembly is shielded by a color selection electrode (hereinafter referred to as a "CS electrode") having three main electrodes, and three color phosphors are deposited on a screen of a screen electrode formed inside of a panel of the tube. A color picture tube provided with such a color selection electrode is a so-called "three-beam type color picture tube".
In the prior art, such a three-beam type color picture tube has been proposed which is provided with a screen electrode having a plurality of slits (hereinafter referred to as "apertures") arranged in the vertical direction of the panel and a CS electrode in which slits of the screen electrode are allowed to communicate with the apertures of the CS electrode.
However, in such a prior art three-beam type color picture tube, there are several drawbacks. First, there is a problem in that the shadow of the slits of the screen electrode, which is formed by the outermost electron beams among the three electron beams incident on the screen electrode, is mixed with the shadow of the slits of the CS electrode which is formed by the innermost electron beams among the three electron beams incident on the CS electrode. As a result, the image of the slits of the CS electrode is not seen when a
